Testimonies From Parents

"My son has been coming to the clinic for more than 2 years, and its the one therapy we can't go without! The incredible sensory experience available in a natural environment while promoting language...I don't know anywhere else we can find that. The therapists are caring and want to help our kids grow and develop. They are open minded and the clinic is a refreshing atmosphere for us."

"We frequently go to Disney World which is often referred to as "The Happiest Place On Earth".  We love Disney but, we think "The Happiest Place On Earth" is Pediatric Therapy Partners!  There are many reasons our family would say this...here's our top 3:

1. PTP makes a difference in our daughters life;(
I will never forget my daughters eyes the first time we walked in to PTP's facility - it was as though every toy she had dreamed of was in eyesight.  She had never left my side in a new place, but at PTP she did - she wanted to play.  My daughter talks about the therapist during the week, asks for them by name, and is aways excited about going to PTP.  When considering her social struggles, this is truly amazing.

2. PTP made a difference for our family;
Looking back, a lot of our family time and energy was used trying to identify issues and deal with them correctly. In just a few weeks the therapists identified accurately the areas my daughter struggles, and we work on those areas.  This has taken the pressure off of our family to be looking for information on our own, and has given us the ability to relax and enjoy our daughter and family time.  In addition, all the PTP staff is so friendly and helpful that I look forward to our appointments too!

3. PTP alleviates our concerns;
Our daughter struggles socially, emotionally, physically, and with expressive language.  When we arrived at PTP, we had so much to work on it felt daunting.  I was worried we were not doing all we could.  Each week PTP gives us information and lots of ideas on how to work on things at home - these ideas work and she has made incredible strides - her struggles no longer feel daunting.  We are confident, because of PTP's expertise, that we are doing everything possible."

Our son has been receiving OT and Speech services at Pediatric Therapy Partners.  He loves going to therapy each week.  The center is set up like a big playground and it is perfect for children with sensory issues.  The children can have fun and they don't realize they are "working" in therapy.  The therapists are very knowledgeable and keep up with the latest techniques.  We are very happy that we found Pediatric Therapy Partners.

My name is Wendy Caraboolad and I have been blessed with my 3 year old son Gabe, whom deals with sensory issues.  I have been a client of Pediatric Therapy Partners for over a year now, and what a life changing experience it has been for my family.  We were not prepared for the level of commitment, support and dedication to my son Gabe.  Not only my son Gabe, but me as a mother navigating my sons needs. Gabe receives Occupational and Speech therapies weekly, and we attend classes in the clinic.  From the first moment I entered the clinic I never felt alone again, this team of professionals always lead me down the right path, and they helped me make breakthroughs I never would've conquered on my own.  He is a thriving little boy and we see continued progress everyday.  My confidence as a mother continues to rise; they listen to every issue my Gabe was dealing with, and as a team we have just done amazing things!   Before I knew it, they became part of my family!  They really are so fabulous!

Dear PTP,
All too often in life, we don’t take time to tell people how much they are appreciated and to recognize them for their special actions.  I wanted to take a moment to write in praise of Sheila and all she has done for my son Trey.
When Trey first started speech therapy with Sheila, we estimated that he had about 4 understandable words in his vocabulary.  Sheila immediately connected with Trey and she figured out over a couple visits that he needed big muscle input in order to stimulate his speech.  Given the way your clinic is set up, that’s exactly what was provided to Trey each and every speech session.
Sheila is so patient and in tune with Trey and she truly goes the extra mile to try to get the most out of him at every session.  She will climb in the ball pit with him, climb up on the slide platform and get down on his level; all in an effort to get him to produce new sounds and new words.  She tries new things with him and gives his father and I invaluable strategies to help Trey in his everyday environment.  Sheila truly listens to us and listens to Trey.  In turn, he recognizes that she values what he has to say.
As a parent, it was heartbreaking to see my little boy struggle to get words to come out, and as a mother, not being called “mommy.”  Sheila has given me ways to help Trey and for that I am forever grateful.  She is so compassionate and understanding.
I am so very proud and pleased to report that Trey now has close to 500 words in his vocabulary and can communicate his wants and needs easily to anyone who will listen.  He tells stories and recounts past events and is a little chatterbox.  He loves to talk and loves to go to Sheila’s house (that’s what he calls PTP) on Mondays.  I am also very proud to say that he will age out of Early Intervention services when he turns three in January.  He has learned so much and has come so far in the span of just months.  I feel confident that we made the right choice with PTP and I don’t believe Trey would have been as successful if Sheila had not been part of his life.
Thank you,
Jodie
