Individual Occupational Therapy (OT)

shaving-cream.JPGOccupational Therapy intervention using a sensory integrative approach is fun!  Treatment is provided in the context of play, and uses the child's interests motivations to obtain optimal engagement in therapy.

OT is based on the unique needs of each child and it addresses difficulties with sensory processing, self-regulation, body awareness, motor planning, gross & fine motor skills, behavior, play skills, social interaction, learning and school performance. Therapists will also help with daily living skills, such as eating, dressing, sleeping and enjoying a typical family life.
